How Kumoki and NEXTMOON handle your information, and the choices you have.

Who this policy covers
This policy covers the Kumoki Android app (com.nextmoon.kumoki) and this website. NEXTMOON is the public studio name of the independent developer based in Italy. For privacy enquiries and requests, contact . Google and other services you choose to use also process information under their own policies.
Game progress on your device
Your progress (levels reached, best scores, settings, tutorials seen) is stored on your device. Kumoki does not create a NEXTMOON account and has no proprietary save server. Android backup, if enabled on your device, may copy this data under Google’s own settings.
Gameplay record on your device
To tune levels and fix problems, the game keeps a local log on your device: moves, hands dealt, scores, how long a game lasted, how the piece was dragged, frame-rate samples and settings used. This log does not leave your device unless you choose to send it to us, for example when asked for help with a bug.
Age and advertising protections
Kumoki is intended for ages 13 and up. Where required, Google’s consent form (UMP) presents advertising choices, and the app signals under-age-of-consent protection to Google. The age or consent choice is not consent to all processing.
Advertising and your choices
The app uses Google AdMob, including optional rewarded videos and interstitial ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from them), advertising/app identifiers, interactions with the app or ads and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Availability of personalised ads depends on your region, consent and settings. You can reopen the advertising choices from the game’s Settings where the privacy-options form is available, and manage your advertising ID in Android settings. Gameplay statistics (GameAnalytics)
If you agree, the app sends anonymous gameplay statistics to GameAnalytics (GameAnalytics ApS, Denmark, and its affiliates): levels started, completed or failed, scores and attempts, and the choices you make. Each event carries a random installation identifier created by the game, a session number, the app version, the device model and the Android version. No name, email address, advertising ID or precise location is sent; GameAnalytics receives your IP address as part of the connection. NEXTMOON uses these statistics only to balance difficulty and improve the game. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings; events still waiting on the device are then deleted.
Hosting and email location
The developer reports that the website hosting and email service are located in Germany, within the EU. This does not mean that Google services, advertising partners or other infrastructure process all information exclusively in the EU; their privacy and transfer information remains relevant.
This website and support messages
This static website has no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, contact forms or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from this site. Its hosting infrastructure may process ordinary connection logs, such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you send and use them to handle your request. Please do not send passwords. See website privacy.
Purposes, legal bases and recipients
Where the GDPR applies, processing necessary to provide requested game features and support is based on performance of the service; security and fraud prevention may rely on legitimate interests; legal obligations may require keeping certain records. Consent is used where required for advertising, statistics or optional device storage/access, and can be withdrawn without affecting earlier processing. Information may be handled by Google for its services, GameAnalytics, hosting and email providers, and authorities where legally required. NEXTMOON does not sell a player database.
Retention and international processing
Local game data remains until removed or replaced; Android backup and Google service data have separate controls. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve the request, handle follow-up or disputes, and meet legal obligations. Hosting logs are kept only for the operational and security needs of the hosting service. Google and infrastructure providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA; their privacy information describes the transfer safeguards.
Your rights and deletion
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. Contact ; we may need proportionate information to verify a request. Under the GDPR we normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions. Children, security and changes
Follow the game’s store age rating and the age and consent requirements that apply where you live. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child’s information. We do not ask players to send sensitive information in order to play. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. We update this notice when the app or its data practices change and show the update date above.
